Elizabeth “Liz” Chennault spent twenty years as a critical care and trauma nurse in large metropolitan hospitals. She holds a Master of Arts degree in American history with a focus on military history. Her family roots are in Scotland and her love of Scottish history led her to create her own business, Heritage History, offering presentations on Scottish history to cultural festivals, genealogy groups, schools, etc. She is also an avid Scottish Country Dancer.
Liz draws from her background in her work-in-progress, The Ghost Wind, the story of an independent woman carving out a life for herself in a man’s world of post-Civil War West Texas.
